Government employees enjoyed five consecutive days off by combining the Durga Puja holiday with the weekend. With work resuming on Sunday, people began returning to Dhaka a day earlier. From Saturday morning, crowds swelled at the capital’s main entry points, including Kamalapur Railway Station and major bus terminals.
