Tension over BNP’s protests

The BNP organised sit-in programmes at Dhaka's entry points on Saturday, Jul 29, 2023, demanding the resignation of the Awami League government. A group of BNP loyalists, led by Amanullah Aman, gathered in Gabtoli, while Awami League workers converged nearby. Clashes broke out following Aman's arrest.
