Fruits prices spike in Ramadan

Prices of apples and grapes and similar local and foreign fruits have soared in Dhaka’s Karwan Bazar at the start of Ramadan. Only a handful of fruits are available under TK 100 a kg while foreign fruits cost at least Tk 300-Tk 400 per kg.
