The potato harvesting season has begun. Farmers are picking potatoes from the fields in different parts of Munshiganj, taking them to their homes or to cold storage. They say that the harvest in the district has been quite good this time. However, as happened last time, farmers have expressed concerns about the price they expect to get for their produce.

Farmers in Munshiganj have reported a good potato harvest this year. However, they are worried the larger harvest could drive down the overall price for their produce. Photo: Abdullah Al Momin
