Dockyard work in Keraniganj

The Buriganga River bank in Dhaka’s Keraniganj is a major location for the construction, repair, and dismantling of river vessels in the country. There are more than 25 dockyards, large and small, at the location, with thousands of workers toiling away 24 hours a day.
