‘Prayer site’, other structures demolished at Suhrawardy Udyan

A joint drive removed all illegal structures from Suhrawardy Udyan on Sunday, including a tarpaulin-covered temporary “prayer site” built by a vagrant. The operation was carried out by the PWD, DSCC, Dhaka University authorities and DMP amid a debate over a proposed mosque in the park.
