On a hill, surrounded by greenery, stands the beautifully designed Shaheed Minar at Sylhet’s Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Then speaker of parliament Humayun Rashid Chowdhury laid the foundation stone for the monument designed by architect Mohiuddin Khan on Feb 12, 2001.
