Bangladesh remembering martyrs of Language Movement

With the solemn strains of "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano Ekushey February, Ami Ki Bhulite Pari" echoing in their hearts and on their lips, people walked barefoot to the Central Shaheed Minar to honour those who sacrificed their lives for the right to speak their mother tongue on Feb 21, marked as Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day.
