Cattle return home from the river islands

The water level of the Padma River at Chapainawabganj’s Sundurpur is rising, gradually submerging the vast grazing lands of the river islands. After five months of living in the area, herders are returning to the mainland with hundreds of cattle, while navigating fierce currents and perilous routes in search of a safe route.
