Chowdhurypara lake under encroachment

Garbage and soil are being dumped daily into Dhaka’s Chowdhurypara lake. Shops and tin houses on bamboo, wood, and poles are steadily occupying the waterbody, shrinking the lake between Khilgaon and Rampura Bou Bazar.
