Janmashtami celebrated with vibrant festivities

Followers of the Hindu faith celebrated Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, with events including Geeta Yajna, Nama Sankirtan, Krishna Puja, and prayers for good fortune. On Saturday, a procession was held from Dhaka’s Palashi intersection, inaugurated by the Army chief, alongside the heads of the Navy and Air Force.
