Parliament readies South Plaza for swearing-in

For the first time in Bangladesh’s parliamentary history, the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected cabinet members will be held at the South Plaza. The ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday evening, while the newly elected MPs will take their oaths earlier that morning. Preparations are under way across the parliament complex as the seat of power readies itself for the transition.
