Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden will host a Pahela Baishakh celebration, offering guests a festive cultural experience.

The event will take place on Apr 14, at the poolside and Utshab Hall, featuring traditional Bengali food, entertainment and interactive activities for guests of all ages, according to a media statement.

Festive items will include panta-ilish, bhorta, chotpoti, fuchka, pitha and desserts, while the venue will be adorned with Bengali decorations.

Guests will be able to take part in activities such as fortune telling, balloon shooting, bioscope shows, henna art, face painting, a jumping castle, magic and monkey shows, and a photo booth.

The entry fee for the “Rongila Boishakh” event is Tk 1,800, including food or snacks platter.

The hotel will also offer a special Baishakhi brunch and dinner buffet at the Water Garden Brasserie, featuring traditional Bengali dishes including hilsa, bhorta, meat and rice, it said in a statement.

The buffet brunch is priced at Tk 6,800 per person, while the dinner buffet costs Tk 8,450 per person.

Guests using selected bank cards will get an “Eat 4 Pay 1” offer.

The statement added that the hotel is running a “Dine & Win” campaign, where guests can win couple air tickets from Air Astra along with gift hampers from Monno Ceramics.
