The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Sunday one of the cases was a confirmed case of measles, while the remaining five exhibited symptoms of the disease.

The death toll has now climbed to 75 confirmed measles fatalities since Mar 15, according to the health directorate's regular bulletin.

Additionally, 384 people have died with suspected measles symptoms during this period.

The Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of symptomatic deaths at 153, followed by the Rajshahi Division with 78 fatalities.
