YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has married fellow content creator Thea Booysen in a private ceremony on Richard Branson's Necker Island.
The couple, both 28, exchange vows in front of 70 guests during a week-long celebration that begins on Jul 14, mixing wedding festivities with island activities such as kitesurfing, snorkelling and feeding the resort's resident lemurs and flamingos.
An ordained minister, who is a family friend, officiates the ceremony.
The bride wears a custom gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture, while Donaldson wears a Ralph Lauren tuxedo. Celebrity planner Marcy Blum organises the week's festivities, with entertainment handled by On the Move Entertainment.
Following their vows, the newlyweds share their first dance to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' "Die With a Smile," before guests continue the celebrations with card and board games late into the night.
The reception spread includes sushi, wagyu beef and fish, with the couple choosing a carrot cake, Booysen's favourite, to mark the occasion.
Donaldson and Booysen, a South African gamer and internet personality, first meet in 2022 during his visit to her home country, when a mutual friend invites her to join them for dinner.
Booysen later says she was struck by how "down-to-earth" and unpretentious he was in person.
The pair begin a long-distance relationship weeks later and make their public debut together at the Kids' Choice Awards in April 2022.
Donaldson proposes on Christmas Day in 2024 at their home, with both families in on the surprise. He later says he deliberately staged a noisy distraction before getting down on one knee with the ring.
Despite his profile as one of the highest-earning content creators, Donaldson says he wanted the wedding kept low-key, allowing only a professional photographer to attend rather than a wider production crew.
Booysen describes the celebration as "heaven," saying the couple hope to make the family gathering an annual tradition, adding that the wedding itself feels like "a formality" after years of planning a future together.
