Classes at schools, colleges resume Sunday after Eid holiday

Madrasas follow a later reopening schedule after an extended break period

Schools and colleges across the country will reopen on Sunday, resuming classes after the Eid-ul-Azha and summer break period.

However, madrasas under different levels will restart academic activities from Jun 14.

Classes in schools and colleges were last held on May 21, after which the Eid holidays began.

The break continued until Jun 4, followed by weekly holidays on Jun 5 and 6, resulting in a total 16-day closure for students.

Madrasas, meanwhile, went into the break after classes on May 21, with holidays continuing until Jun 11. With weekly holidays on Jun 12 and 13, their academic activities will resume on Jun 14.

Overall, madrasa students are enjoying a 23-day break.
