Flood-hit Chattogram Division aside, HSC exams stay on nationwide

Physics, accounting and logic first papers are due on Monday

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams will continue as scheduled across Bangladesh except in Chattogram Division, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has said.

On Sunday, the committee said the decision applies to all districts outside Chattogram education board and the division's five districts.

HSC, Alim, HSC Vocational, BMT and Diploma in Commerce exams will continue until further notice.

No exams were scheduled on Sunday.

Relentless rain and flooding forced the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chittagong to suspend all HSC and equivalent examinations until Jul 16.

Earlier, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon said the government would decide whether to hold or defer exams after assessing reports from district administrations, education boards and the Met Office.
