The results of the junior scholarship examination will be published on Wednesday.

The Secondary and Higher Education Division will officially announce the results in the afternoon.

Simultaneously, all education boards will release official gazettes listing students selected for the scholarship.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, Chairman Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, who is also the president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed the schedule to bdnews24.com on Tuesday.

"The results will be officially unveiled at the education ministry at 1pm on Wednesday. After this, individual boards will release their gazettes," he said.

He added that the results would be accessible through the official websites of the respective education boards.

A total of 46,200 students will be selected for the junior scholarship this year based on the examinations held between Dec 28 and Jan 5.

Among the scholarship recipients, 14,700 students will receive the “talent pool” scholarship, while 31,500 have been slotted for the “general” category.

The results, processed by nine education boards under the supervision of the Dhaka board, involve 315,160 students who cleared eighth grade in 2025.

Selected students will receive the benefits for the next two years.

Talent pool awardees will get a monthly stipend of Tk 450 along with an annual lump-sum grant of Tk 560.

General scholarship recipients will receive Tk 300 per month and an annual grant of Tk 350.

The 400-mark examination was based on the eighth grade curriculum, covering Bengali (100), English (100), Mathematics (100), Science (50), and Bangladesh & Global Studies (50).
