The Junior Scholarship Examination for eighth graders is scheduled to be held in December this year.

Eighth-grade students from all recognised government and private schools will be eligible to participate in the examination, with 25 percent getting the opportunity.

The exams will carry a total of 400 marks, covering four papers across five subjects.

Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider told bdnews24.com on Tuesday, “The education ministry has issued a policy for eighth-grade students to take the Junior Scholarship Examination.

“The education boards have asked the heads of educational institutions and field-level education officers to take action accordingly.”
