DSHE defers secondary half-yearly, SSC pre-test exams by 3 days

The revised timetable pushes start date into July

Secondary and higher education authorities have postponed half-yearly examinations and SSC pre-test exams by three days across the country.

According to a fresh directive issued by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Tuesday, the exams will now commence on Jul 1 and continue until Jul 16.

The directive applies strictly to all government and non-government secondary educational institutions across Bangladesh.

Under the previously approved academic calendar and holiday schedule, the mid-term evaluations and secondary pre-test examinations were originally slated to run from Jun 28 to Jul 13.

The DSHE said in its official order that the schedule modification was made due to unavoidable circumstances.
