Sharif Mohammad

Mayoral candidate Sharif Mohammad says in his affidavit that he 'knows his letters'. His election symbol is the duck. Sharif, 55, is not involved with any political party. His chief income source is a plastic factory from which he earns Tk 90,000 yearly. He also owns a two-storey building and a tin-shed with eight rooms. He also owns Tk 1.52 million worth of movable assets. Sharif has a criminal case against him on trial in the Dowry Prohibition Act with the Narayanganj Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.
