Bangladesh cricketers have signalled their readiness to return to play from Friday, budging slightly from their hardline stance and setting new conditions for resuming matches.

The change comes after the cricket fraternity welcomed the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) decision to remove director M Najmul Islam from the Finance Committee.

While his position as a BCB director remains under procedural review, the players have indicated they will return to ground if he publicly apologises.
