IUB’s Prof Mamun Habib honoured with ‘Excellence Researcher Award’

The award has been conferred at the International Higher Education Excellence Award 2025

Prof Md Mamun Habib, head of the Department of Management at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), has been awarded the “Excellence Researcher Award” at the International Higher Education Excellence Award 2025, hosted by Shinawatra University, Thailand (SIU).

The award, presented on Monday, recognises significant research impact and contributions to international academic collaboration.

Expressing gratitude, Prof Habib thanked SIU and Chanyanan Somthawinpongsai, director of the International Reputation Centre, for nominating him.

In a statement, he highlighted that the award reflects IUB’s commitment to quality education and research.

He also noted that IUB’s School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE) continues to prioritise research and academic leadership initiatives.

Earlier in December, Prof Habib was also honoured with the “Supply Chain Management Award” at the 8th IEOM Bangladesh International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, held at World University of Bangladesh, recognising his outstanding contributions to the field.
