The Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) has celebrated Parents Day, welcoming parents and guardians for a morning of engagement, dialogue, and collaboration.
Held from 9AM to 1PM on Saturday, the event offered families the opportunity to meet the Vice Chancellor Prof ABM Shawkat Ali, registrar, deans, heads of departments, and senior officials.
In his remarks, Shawkat described Parents Day as “a meaningful bridge between the university and families”, enabling open dialogue and strengthening mutual understanding.
He highlighted that parental involvement is essential for students’ holistic development and long-term success.
Parents praised the initiative for giving them firsthand insights into their children’s academic progress, personal growth, and campus facilities.
Many valued the chance to share feedback, interact directly with university leaders, and learn more about BUBT’s commitment to quality education and student well-being.
Administrative and academic offices remained open for visits, allowing parents to receive information and assistance on academic, administrative, and support services.
The interactive, welcoming atmosphere reflected BUBT’s dedication to a collaborative educational environment.
The day concluded with a shared pledge from both the administration and parents to work together for the students’ brighter future.
