Six projects developed by Daffodil AI have earned places among the Top 50 Innovations at the Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026.
The recognition highlights the joint initiative of Daffodil Group and Daffodil International University (DIU), which is expanding its work in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, according to a media statement.
The projects target practical challenges ranging from firefighting and rescue and healthcare to road infrastructure and smart automation.
The six recognised innovations are: Dual-Mode FR Vehicle, HOMEPITAL NEXUS, PikoBot, Pav Analytics, IoT Smart Automation and The Arbor Voice for Mothers, the statement said.
The three-day fair, organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology to showcase the country's scientific and technological capabilities, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who also visited the Daffodil AI stall.
Daffodil Group Chairman and Founder of Daffodil International University Md Sabur Khan and Daffodil Group CEO Md Nuruzzaman were present during the visit.
Beyond the six recognised projects, Daffodil AI is showcasing AI applications in education and institutional management, including platforms such as AI Professor, Student360, Alumni360, Perfect HR, LeadershipOS and RegistrarOS.
The initiatives demonstrate how AI can support education management, decision-making, institutional accountability, human resource development and workforce management.
The pavilion also features robotics, computer vision and integrated software-hardware technologies.
Daffodil AI is also integrating Connected Education, Workforce Intelligence, Institutional Accountability and Physical AI across its technology initiatives.
Daffodil AI said around 40 to 50 further projects across AI, robotics and automation are currently in development at various stages.
"Young people must come forward to address the real problems of our country through technology and innovation," said Sabur Khan.
"The recognition of our projects is an important achievement for our research and innovation initiatives,” he added.
