ULAB celebrates Victory Day 2025 paying homage to freedom fighters

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh has marked Victory Day 2025 with an event paying tribute to the heroes of the Liberation War.

The observance on Tuesday began with the unveiling of a pictorial and book display on the Liberation War, followed by a formal address by Acting Vice-Chancellor Jude William Genilo.

The main segment featured a talk by freedom fighter Syed Munibur Rahman, who recounted his experiences during the Liberation War and reflected on the meaning and achievements of independence.

The ceremony concluded with renditions of Victory Day songs.

In a media statement, ULAB said the observance reflects its continued commitment to upholding the legacy of the Liberation War and nurturing a sense of patriotism among students and the wider university community.
