Roads to avoid on day of DUCSU elections

Traffic movement around Dhaka University will be controlled with diversions, the DMP says

Police have advised people to avoid roads leading to Dhaka University on the day of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) elections.

Vehicles coming from Shahbagh Crossing, the High Court, Nilkhet, Shahidullah Hall, and Palashi Crossing have been instructed to use alternative routes rather than proceeding towards Dhaka University.

This information was shared in a public notice by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Monday. It also said, “For the smooth conduct of the DUCSU elections on Tuesday, traffic movement in and around Dhaka University and surrounding areas will be controlled and diversions (alternative routes) will be provided.”
