The nine universities under the agriculture cluster will hold their admission test for first-year undergraduate programmes for the 2025–26 Academic Year on Jan 3.
Applications for admission under the cluster system open on Tuesday and will continue until Dec 15, according to a notice published on Sunday.
The nine universities collectively offer 3,701 seats, with an application fee of Tk 1,200.
The 100-mark multiple-choice test will be held on the university campuses from 2pm to 3pm.
The universities in the agriculture cluster are: Bangladesh Agricultural University, Gazipur Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Habiganj Agricultural University, and Kurigram Agricultural University.
Applications can be submitted at acas.edu.bd. Gazipur Agricultural University will organise the exam.
The syllabus is based on the 2025 HSC or equivalent curriculum, covering: English 10 marks, Zoology 15, Botany 15, Physics 20, Chemistry 20 and Mathematics 20. Each correct answer carries one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Results will be calculated out of 150 marks, combining 100 marks from the admission test, 25 marks from SSC or equivalent results (excluding the fourth subject), and 25 marks from HSC or equivalent results (excluding the fourth subject). Merit and waiting lists will be prepared accordingly.
