Southeast University (SEU) has launched its “Southeast University Job Fair 2026”, bringing together students, alumni and employers in Dhaka.
The two-day event was inaugurated at 10am on Wednesday at the university’s multipurpose hall and will continue until May 7 on campus.
Sayed Bin Abdullah, special assistant to the prime minister on youth employment, attended the opening as chief guest, highlighting the importance of youth participation in the workforce.
Shamsuzzaman Nasim, managing director of Micro Fibre Group, joined as special guest and shared industry insight.
The fair features 55 multinational and local organisations across sectors including banking, financial services, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, IT, healthcare, hospitality, electronics, and real estate.
Alongside recruitment, the event includes career development sessions and two seminars aimed at supporting professional growth among job seekers.
The closing ceremony on May 7 is expected to be attended by Zonaid Abdur Rahim Saki, minister of state for planning, as chief guest, and TM Asaduzzaman as special guest.
