Prof Imran Rahman joins IUB as business school dean, policy advisor

Former two-term vice-chancellor of ULAB Prof Imran Rahman, an academic leader with more than four decades of experience, has joined Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) on Sept 1, as dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship and Administrative Policy advisor.

A former faculty member and business school dean at Dhaka University’s Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Prof Rahman brings experience in institutional transformation, faculty development, governance, and industry engagement.

His responsibilities include strengthening faculty quality and academic leadership, as well as positioning IUB’s business school as one of Bangladesh’s leading destinations for business education.
