The admission test for Dhaka University’s Business Studies Unit has been scheduled for Saturday, with 32 candidates competing for every available seat.

The exam will be held from 11am to 12:30pm on the DU campus and at four other universities in major divisional cities: Chittagong University, Rajshahi University, Khulna University, and Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur.

A total of 34,062 applicants have registered for the test, which carries 100 marks: 60 for multiple-choice questions and 40 for written questions. An additional 20 marks will be awarded based on SSC and HSC GPA scores.

The 1,050 highest-scoring candidates will secure their places in the nine departments under the Faculty of Business Studies for the 2025-26 academic year.

Of the 1,050 seats, 930 are reserved for students from the business studies track, 95 for science students and 25 for humanities students.

According to a university media statement, Vice-Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad Khan will visit the exam centre at the Faculty of Business Studies building at 11:30am on Saturday.
