The US Chamber of Commerce has organised a meeting with officials, business leaders, and former and present diplomats in Dhaka.
The “Breakfast Meeting” began at 8:30am at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel InterContinental, Dhaka.
Among those in attendance were:
1. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, executive chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) and Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA).
2. Major general (retd.) Md Nazrul Islam, executive member, Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA).
3. Dr Khandaker Azizul Islam, executive member, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).
4. Md Mujib-ul-Ferdous, director general, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).
5. Atul Kesha, president, US-Bangladesh Business Council and senior vice president, US Chamber of Commerce, International Affairs (South Asia).
6. Peter David Haas, former US ambassador to Bangladesh and advisor to Excelerate Energy, a US-based multinational energy company.
7. Sakshi Parihar, director, Government Affairs & Public Policy, US-Bangladesh Business Council (South Asia).
8. Shemei Gerson Levi, senior security consultant, US Chamber of Commerce.
