Shimanto Bank holds BAMLCO & DAMLCO Conference 2025

Md Mofizur Rahman Khan Chowdhury, acting head of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), attends as chief guest

Shimanto Bank has held the “Branch Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer’s (BAMLCOs) and Departmental Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer’s (DAMLCOs) Conference 2025” at its head office.

Md Mofizur Rahman Khan Chowdhury, executive director and acting head of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), attended the event as the chief guest, Shimanto Bank said in a statement on Monday.

Mohammad Azizul Hoque, managing director & CEO (CC), Md Sahidul Islam, head of business, and other members of the senior management team, branch managers, and all BAMLCOs and DAMLCOs of the bank also took part. Shadril Ahmed and Md Rokon-Uz-Zaman, both additional directors at the BFIU, were present as resource persons at the conference.
