Abdul Monem Limited (AML), the authorised bottler of Coca-Cola beverages in Bangladesh, has appointed Kazi Nazmul Hassan as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of its beverage unit.
Hassan had recently served as group chief operating officer (COO) for the Coke, Sugar, and Bran oil portfolio, AML said in a press release.
“With more than 24 years of professional experience across finance, commercial operations, strategic business management, and large-scale operational leadership — including 18 years at Coca-Cola — he brings extensive industry expertise and strategic vision to the position,” it said.
AML said Hassan has held several key executive positions, including group coo, group chief commercial officer (CCO), group chief financial officer (CFO), and head of strategic business operations.
“His leadership has played a significant role in enhancing business performance, strengthening supply chain capabilities, improving financial efficiency, and expanding market reach across the organization.
“Mr. Hassan is widely recognised for his strong focus on business transformation, operational discipline, financial stewardship, and people development. He has also been instrumental in building sustainable leadership pipelines and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance excellence within the organisation,” the press release said.
In his new role, Hassan will lead the strategic direction and overall operations of the beverage unit, focusing on with a focus on strengthening market leadership, enhancing customer engagement, driving sustainable profitability, and expanding operational capabilities.
Following the announcement, Hassan said:

Hassan graduated from Dhaka University’s Institute of Business Administration with an advanced certificate before completing his Honours and Master’s degrees in Accounting and his PE-I under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
Before joining AML, he also held senior leadership positions in n Omicon Group, ACI Godrej Agrovet Pvt Ltd, and Rupayan Group.
