AmCham's new committee told the prime minister it is working to attract more US investment to Bangladesh and strengthen trade ties between the two countries.
The prime minister said Bangladesh offers a “favourable” investment climate, and the government stands ready to extend full cooperation to interested foreign investors.
Commerce Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir; Prime Minister’s ICT Advisor Rehan Asif Asad; and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury were among those present at the meeting.
