Jet fuel prices have risen after four consecutive cuts.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) raised the August price of Jet A-1 for domestic flights to Tk 159.52 per litre from Tk 130.99, an increase of Tk 28.53.

For international flights, the duty- and VAT-free price for domestic and foreign airlines rose to $1.0358 per litre from $0.8556.

The BERC announced the new rates in an order on Sunday.
