bdnews24.com launches search engine to scan the web for classified ads

bdnews24.com has launched ‘classifieds search engine’ that provides users a single hub to access all advertisements available on the online marketplaces in Bangladesh.

All a user needs to do is click on bdnews24.com/classified to open the doorway to all databases.

“This intelligent search engine will show all classifieds about buying and selling in Bangladesh from home and abroad. It can be referred to as the hub of all classifieds,” the internet-based newspaper’s Head of New Media and New Business M Rashed Ahsan says.

Not long ago it was the print media that was the only source for classifieds in Bangladesh. Not anymore.

Online portals such as Bikroy.com, ekhanei.com, carmudi.com.bd, lamudi.com.bd have made a name for themselves and taken over that space.

Ahsan explains. “Suppose someone is looking to rent a place or to buy old furniture. In that case, they can see advertisements from multiple classified databases on bdnews24.com at once.”

He further says that bdnews24.com launched the search engine, built by a famous Norwegian firm, to offer consumers more ease of use.
