His first funeral prayer was held at Tarash on Tuesday morning followed by another at his village home in the afternoon before his burial there.
He was accorded the guard of honour after the second namaz-e-janaza.
The 64-year old collapsed at his home in Raiganj on Monday and had died on the way to a hospital in Bogra.
Hundreds of people paid tributes to the Awami League leader before the funeral prayers.
Born on June 18, 1950, Talukder was elected to the House thrice in 1986, 2007 and 2010 from the Rayganj-Tarash constituency.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and grandchildren.
