Sirajganj MP Ishaque Talukder dies

Sirajganj 3 MP Ishaque Hossain Talukder of Awami League has died from asthma-related complications at the age of 64.

Tarash Upazila Awami League General Secretary Sanjit Karmakar said Ishaque fell ill at his home in Raiganj Upazila on Monday afternoon. He died on the way to a hospital in Bogra.

He said the MP may be brought to Dhaka at night for a janaza prayer at the parliament plaza.

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim expressed his grief at the death of Ishaque Talukdar and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
