Dhaka, Nov 17 (bdnews24.com)—The government has promoted five senior officers of Bangladesh Police to deputy inspectors general, a home ministry circular said Tuesday.
The circular said the promoted officers were Sheikh Himayet Hossain Miah from Khulna range, Md Mokhlesur Rahman from Dhaka range and Benazir Ahmed and Md Moinur Rahman Chowdhury from police headquarters—all four acting in current charge as DIGs—and Dr Aftabuddin Ahmed, additional DIG of Rapid Action Battalion.
