"We don’t believe in the crash theory. Neither do the Japanese believe it. But we all know that Netaji went missing after the so-called crash at Taihoku. There are a lot of files from that period which must be declassified and put in the public domain," said his grand-nephews Surjya Bose and Chandra Bose in a press conference.
They said 33 files relating to the period when Netaji went missing and later are locked up in the secret vaults of Prime Minister's Office – another nearly 100 are similarly kept in secret vaults in other ministries like Home and External Affairs.
"We will all get to know what happened to the man who was easily one of India's greatest leaders of her independence struggle," the Bose brothers said.
