Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmed announced the schedule of the bypoll on Monday.
The seat fell vacant after the death of Jatiya Party MP Nasim Osman on Apr 30. The presidium member of JP was elected uncontested in the Jan 5 polls.
Nasim Osman was elected a lawmaker from this constituency in 1986, 1988 and 2008. His brother Shamim Osman has been elected MP from Narayanganj-4 constituency in a ruling Awami League ticket.
Their father AKM Shamsuzzoha was a member of Bangladesh's first parliament in 1973.
