Dhaka, June 16 (bdnews24.com) – Additional inspector general of police Naba Bikram Kishore Tripura has been made acting secretary of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) affairs ministry for the next two years.
A public administration ministry circular issued on Thursday said the appointment was given under the 10 percent quota of the president.
The government had on Oct 5 last year deputed Kishore Tripura at the foreign ministry for his appointment as an ambassador.
Another additional inspector general of police Phani Bhushan Chowdhury is also discharging his duty now as an additional secretary in the home ministry.
