45th BCS final results to be released on Dec 10

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has said the final results for the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination will be published on Dec 10, in accordance with their roadmap.

On Jun 3, the commission unveiled a roadmap to resolve the backlog of the 44th-48th BCS exams.

Following that roadmap, the results of the 45th BCS written examination were released on Jun 19, with 6,558 candidates passing.

The roadmap includes a declaration that the final results for this BCS will be published on Dec 10.

The oral tests for the 45th BCS, which began on Jul 8, are currently ongoing.

The PSC published the notification for the 45th BCS on Nov 30, 2022.

The preliminary examination was held on May 19, 2023, with 268,119 candidates participating. The exam results were published on Jun 6 of the same year.

A total of 12,789 candidates who passed the preliminary test sat for the written exam, which took place from Jan 23 to Jan 31 of last year.
