Govt withdraws transfer orders of eight Upazila administrators

The interim government has withdrawn an order transferring eight Upazila administrators (UNOs) just a day after they issued it ahead of the parliamentary polls.

The Ministry of Public Administration cancelled the earlier decision through a fresh notification on Thursday.

The officers affected by the transfers were:

Israt Jahan – from Pathorghata, Barguna to Charfesson, Bhola

Md Al-Amin – from Jibannagar, Chuadanga to Nagarkanda, Faridpur

Rehena Akter – from Bhandaria, Pirojpur to Dhunot, Bogura

Liton Chandra Day – from Bahubal, Habiganj to Jibannagar

Preetilota Barman – from Dhunot Bahubal

Mehraj Sharbin – from Nagarkanda to Kalmakanda, Netrokona

Masudur Rahman – from Kalmakanda to Bhandaria

Md Lokman Hossain – from Charfesson to Pathorghata
