Social media star Hero Alom assaulted by attackers, hospitalised

He is being treated at Mugda Medical College and Hospital

Assailants have injured popular content creator Ashraful Alom, better known as Hero Alom, in an attack, and he has subsequently been hospitalised.

He was admitted to Mugda Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka following the assault on Monday night.

According to Badda Police chief Saiful Islam, a group of assailants attacked Alom around 9pm in Aftabnagar, Dhaka.

“We received information that someone was attacking Alom in the final stretch of Aftabnagar. Upon learning he had been taken to Mugda hospital, we sent police to the scene,” he said.
