Two people have been killed after a head-on collision between two buses in Mymensingh's Bhaluka.
At least 10 others were injured in the accident that happened around 8am on Saturday on the Mymensingh-bound road outside Tasrif Cotton Mills in Bhoradoba, according to Bhaluka Model Police Station chief Humayun Kabir.
The victims have yet to be identified. Their bodies have been taken to the police station, he said.
Among the injured, several received first aid at Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex, while those in a more critical state were transferred to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Police have seized both buses and an investigation is under way, said Humayun, adding that efforts were being made to identify the dead.
