The gas supply will be suspended for six hours in six areas of Narayanganj and Munshiganj on Friday due to gas pipeline relocation work.

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company made the announcement in a press release on Thursday.

The company said work will be done to relocate the existing gas pipeline next to the under-construction Bridge No. 7 in the Pagla Railway Station area.

Due to this, gas supply to all categories of customers in Fatulla, Enayetnagar, Kashipur, Muktarpur, Munshiganj and Siddhirganj areas will be suspended from 2pm to 8pm.

Titas also said customers in surrounding areas may experience low gas pressure.

Apologising for the temporary inconvenience to customers, the company said efforts will be made to quickly normalise gas supply by completing the scheduled work.
