Mirza Abbas, undergoing treatment in Malaysia, asks for blessings from nation

Senior BNP leader Mirza Abbas, who is undergoing treatment in Malaysia, has sought prayers and blessings from people across Bangladesh, saying he is “recovering gradually”.

Speaking over an audio call from a Malaysian hospital on Wednesday afternoon, the Standing Committee member and Dhaka-8 MP said he is on the path to recovery but is not yet fully well.

Responding to a question about his current condition, Abbas said: “I am holding up. I am still under treatment and undergoing therapy.”
