Dhaka, June 3 (bdnews24.com)--The government has replaced Chittagong Metropolitan Police chief Mohammed Moniruzzaman with addition Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner Mohammed Abul Kashem.
The home ministry announced the shuffle in an order on Thursday.
Their appointment will be effective after the June 17 city corporation polls, the ministry statement added.
Another 35 top police officers have also been transferred in the shake-up.
